No Time for Time Square

I was lucky enough to be invited to the National Retail Federation annual Big Show!  To spend a few days in New York is a treasure all in itself but to be able to attend Texworld - the largest sourcing event in North America - and rub elbows with top CEO's in the industry is on the same caliber as  swimming in diamonds.  On second thought... a little less sharp and shiny but still a once in a lifetime opportunity that I don't want to waste a moment taking in.  Here are a few posted from my time spent in Time Square and at the Big Show so far, soon I hope to be able to spend some time shopping and will post pictures of my NY finds.  Unfortunately up to this point I have had no time for Time Square or shopping, just walking by wide eyed and making lists upon lists in my mind of where I want to go and what I want to do before I leave NYC!

Don't Travel Alone

Employ a stable, dependable, fashionable and silent travel buddy.  I found all of these qualities and more in my latest luggage purchase, the Bric's Light 26" Trolley.

This bag seems to be custom built  for my traveling needs!  The camel color is sophisticated and easily distinguished from the sea of black luggage ridding the conveyer at baggage claim.  No need to check?  No problem.  This bag is the perfect sized carry on and will easily slide under your feet or over your head.  The exterior is crocodile embossed PVC and can be easily cleaned and maintained for years of tropical travels or rough road trips.  No matter the destination, you will find it hard to leave a Bric's bag behind.  Happy travels!

Field of Dreams

First of all I would like to wish all of you a very happy start to 2013 and hope the year brings happiness and personal fulfillment in each endeavor you pursue.  When creating the look for this post I wanted to portray a touch whimsy with a wearable ensemble - exactly what I think a field of dreams should encompass.  Don't let anyone fool you with the phrase, "dream big," true dreams can come in any shape and size.  I find it advantageous to have a good mix.  As you can see I paired a flared maxi dress with a chambray top and a beaded belt.  The worn boots complete the look and make it easy to run until your legs give out for any dream.  Happy New Year and Happy Dreaming!
